Madden Prodcuer Ian Cummings has posted a new blog today called "06.01.07 Madden 08 Gameplay Trailer: The Devil is in the Details". In it he breaks down the new Madden sizzle video and points some of the new goods of Madden '08. Not only does he break down some of the new aspects of the game, he also has a little bit of a bone to pick with the Marketing department. Heh. Check out the entire blog HERE. (If you don't see the blog I speak off, make sure to click on the "June" link on the left hand side of the EA page under the "Archives" header.) " Shot 1: Vince Young Pointing (in Shotgun) Though this is a simple shot, it actually is really cool in that this is not a scriptable or cut scene in any way. This is all real-time gameplay animations driving him getting set, whereas you remember for 06 and 07 we actually used cut-scenes to move players to their positions pre-snap. I really couldn’t stand those…so this is one of the little things that makes me happy."

We wanted to let everyone know that ConsoleSports.net has been invited to attend EA Sports NCAA '08 Community Day down at Tiburon Studios in Orlando, Florida on June 12th. I will be representing the site during that time and will be giving updates during the duration of my stay from June 11th to June 13th here on the site. The actual Community Day is on June 12th, but we arrive on the 11th and leave on the 13th. So, I'm sure there will be some stuff worth mentioning during that time. This is a very exciting time for us as it's going to be our first time at an EA Community Day. We will be able to play NCAA '08 while we're there as far as ask the producers questions about the game. What we would like is for our members to come on into the forums and throw us some questions that they would like to be asked while we are there. I will try and see if I can't a few of them answered during my stay. I will be trying to give you guys updates as I get them. Of course, I am assuming that there will be a bunch of stuff that we won't be able to post on the site, but I would also assume that there will be a good deal that I will be able to post on the site. You can post your questions in the forums here: http://consolesports.net/forums2/index.php?showtopic=2784
Remember, though, you will have to be registered in the forums in order to ask your questions.
