We recieved another update from the NBA Live Development team regarding the new NBA Live 365 feature. These seem to be somewhat of a regular update from the Live staff, which is rather nice to see... "Hey everyone,
We wanted to check back in to let you know that not only are we extremely appreciative of the patience and excitement you all showed while we were working through our initial issues with NBA LIVE 365, but we also wanted to point out some really cool things to look at now that everything has been updated.
For starters, you’ll notice that almost every player and team is updated with new DNA. I’d like to point out some of the top rookies like Mayo, Love, Rose and Beasley. Take a look at their DNA. It’s pretty cool to see the first DNA data on new players that haven’t played in the NBA before. You can’t compare it off of last year. It’s like seeing the DNA mapping of a child established. What you’re seeing now may be the foundation for how these young superstars may play for the rest of their career. Take a look at the Rockets DNA with Artest, or Philadelphia’s DNA with Brand. It’s not there yet, but once they play some games, Detroit and Denver should look pretty different too ;).
If you’re seeing the numbers “14” and “15” for players with the latest update, it’s because they haven’t played yet. Once they do, you’ll see their DNA.
This is a process guys, and we thank you for your patience. We knew that once the now infamous “kinks” were worked out, you guys would be pleased with what you’re seeing. Please continue to give us feedback as we move forward. Things may move slowly at the beginning, but we’re working out a rhythm here that will set us up for success! Rest assured though, your game will be “Made Fresh Daily!”
Thanks,
The NBA LIVE Dev Team"

NBA Live 09 Assistant Producer, Marcus Stephenson, has passed the following info along regarding the Live 365 service and how it is going to work to start the season. The explanation is below... "Hello Everyone,
In our communication to all of you before the launch of NBA LIVE 09, we said that NBA LIVE 365 would be “Made Fresh Daily.” This will certainly be the case, but I wanted to update everyone on our current status, because there are lots of questions being asked around the community concerning NBA LIVE 365 and when it will officially “turn on.” Last night the NBA season officially kicked off. Six teams played, and the NBA LIVE 365 information was received and is ready to be pushed in-game for all of you to enjoy, but in order to accurately reflect what’s happening in the real NBA in NBA LIVE 09, we need the data from EVERY NBA team once they finish their first game.
The last NBA teams will play their first game on Thursday (10/30). To accurately reflect what happened for every team’s first game in NBA LIVE 09, we’re going to turn on NBA LIVE 365 on Friday morning (10/31) for everyone that input a code on the insert inside the NBA LIVE 09 packaging. Once every team plays their first game, you will see your daily changes as promised.
We’re terribly sorry for the inconvenience, but we really wanted to update the community on what our current status is. We thank you for your overwhelming excitement and continued interest for this feature, and we promise that you’ll be pleased with what’s reflected in-game based on the real NBA season. It’ll be a long, enjoyable journey for all of us to enjoy!
Thanks,
The NBA LIVE 09 Team"

This message about NBA Live 365 came across the e-mail wire from Marcus Stephenson of EASports. It should clear up some confusion with the Live 365 service...
"We’ve heard that there’s some confusion around NBA LIVE 365. I wanted to let you know that if you buy the game NEW, you’ll have a card in the case with a special code on it. That code is specific to your Gamertag / PSN name and gives you NBA LIVE 365 FREE all season long (starting October 27th). For those who do not purchase NBA LIVE 09 NEW, we’ve made it easy for you to get NBA LIVE 365. On both the XBOX 360 and the PS3, NBA LIVE 365 retails for 9.99. This can be purchased via the XBOX LIVE Marketplace or the Playstation Store. Currently, the price listing is correct on the XBOX LIVE Marketplace, but it’s incorrectly marked 19.99 on the Playstation Store. We’re working to get this corrected as soon as possible, but rest assured, the price is 9.99! We hope you enjoy NBA LIVE 09 made fresh daily all season long!"
