Madden Prodcuer Ian Cummings has posted a new blog today called "06.01.07 Madden 08 Gameplay Trailer: The Devil is in the Details". In it he breaks down the new Madden sizzle video and points some of the new goods of Madden '08. Not only does he break down some of the new aspects of the game, he also has a little bit of a bone to pick with the Marketing department. Heh. Check out the entire blog HERE. Though this is a simple shot, it actually is really cool in that this is not a scriptable or cut scene in any way. This is all real-time gameplay animations driving him getting set, whereas you remember for 06 and 07 we actually used cut-scenes to move players to their positions pre-snap. I really couldn’t stand those…so this is one of the little things that makes me happy."
