Something else that struck me a little odd was the lighting effect on some of the jerseys.  The way the lights reflect off of some of them, they look like they’re made of shiny plastic or shiny rubber or something.  That looked kind of odd to me and I think other people noticed that as well.  Another thing I would like to point out is the lack of presentation. It’s basically the same ol’, same ol’ with no pre-game, no halftime show, no post-game show, no nothing.  I didn’t even see that much ESPN stuff at all.  I was really hoping we would start to see that license be used a little better, but that hasn’t happened yet. And last but not least, I don’t think you will be able to see names online on the 360 and no online leagues.  I never got an answer out of anybody about why or why not about the names.  Personally, I think there’s more going on behind the scenes that we don’t know about.  I’ve heard conflicting reports over that subject, and really, I can’t really speculate or give any answers one way or another.  I have no idea what’s going to happen with that.  As far as the leagues go, I think we are all disappointed about that one.  I don't have anything to say about the leagues that already haven't been said already.

NCAA 08 Football

That’s pretty much what I was able to take from playing the game all day yesterday.  The experience was fantastic and the other community members that were there were fun to be around and I think we all had good times.  I really can’t tell you how cool it was to just sit there and play video games all day while the producers would come down and hang out.  They answered most of the tough questions we fired at them and even took the time to really show us some of the improvements in the gameplay. Sometimes they would going into practice mode and show us in slow-mo just what is going on during certain plays or go to the part of the game they worked on and explain some of the finer things to us in the game. Will and EA Sports were gracious hosts and really treated us community members well.  Now we all get to sit back and wait a month before the game comes out.  Congrats to Moostache for winning the NCAA Tournament and winning himself an XBOX 360 Elite.

And one last thing before I go, don’t underestimate the trunk space of a Kia Rio.

;)
