EA's March Madness 08 producer Novell Thomas just posted a developer blog regarding some of the new dynamic post move features in March Madness 08.  Video is also included.

"Dynamic Post Control is one of our major features this year in NCAA March Madness 08. If you look at the best teams over the last few years, especially in college basketball, they’ve all had one thing in common – great post play. Obviously Billy Donovan’s Florida Gators had the most potent inside-outside combination in college basketball for two straight years. They had two extremely talented post players in Joakim Noah and Al Horford. Each could score in the paint or make the open pass when double teamed. This combined with their talented perimeter players, made the Gators a difficult matchup. Ohio State, Kansas, UNC are other schools who have had some success with their post game. The success of these teams inspired our Dynamic Post Control feature. Another reason why we wanted to implement this feature is because no other basketball title has a post game feature. We wanted to deliver something new, which was fun, easy to learn and gives users another way to score. The concept of owning the paint and working “inside and then out” was something that we wanted to encourage. Basketball is about taking high percentage shots and post play is a great way to get these types of shots.."
