In case you missed it the demo for March Madness 08 is available for the 360.  I'm not sure about the PS3 version at this time, though.

Kentucky @ Louisville, Varsity difficulty

I played about 3 games this morning and it feels like a more refined version of NBA Live. Although, they did slow the gameplay down a little bit, but I like that.

The graphics look pretty good. The gym looks beautiful and the player models look good. It seems they fixed the problem where when you pass, the player that receives it stops running when he catches the ball. So now you can actually run a fast break.

I do like how insted of showing the player's number and position underneath the player himself, they have a little menu that shows up on the bottom corner of the screen that shows the pertinent info like composure level and what not. It took a second to get used to it, but after that it was no big deal. You can pump up the crowd, your players, yourself, or there's another option that says "opponent", but I never used it so I don't know what it does.

One thing, though, is the atmosphere could be better. This was Kentucky @ Louisville and while the crowd was into it, I couldn't really hear them. Again, it goes back to who's doing the mixdown of the audio at EA. It seems that the announcers are too loud and the crowd isn't loud enough. Like the volume pressure isn't there for the crowd and in order to attain that volume, I would have to jack my TV volume way up. Granted, it doesn't give you the audio options in the demo, so I will wait to comment on that more.

Overall, I like the game. I think it does a good job with the college game so far.
