EA Sports Will Kinsler provided an update on the upcoming patches we can expect to see in NCAA 09 to fix some issues with the game. This is by no means a full list of features that will be addressed as there could be more with the second one. The ETA around the second patch looks like its going to be around August/September or so. Roster issue patch. This is still in approvals with MS/Sony and there hasn't been any change that I'm aware of on the timetable. Still in good shape there.
Online Dynasty concerns. The team has deployed some fixes that they believe will prevent this happening from now on. They are continuing to test to make sure, but believe that from here on out that these problems shouldn't continue to affect people's dynasties. Only about 2% of dynasties overall were affected, but this is good news either way. Right now the team is in the process of continuing to clean up some of the existing dynasties that were affected. If you guys have any dynasties that need to be looked at, please shoot me an email and let me know. Please also let me know if you see this problem happen with any new dynasties as we shouldn't see this again.
Patch #2 The team is continuing to evaluate what specifically will be addressed in the second NCAA patch. Here are some of the things that are currently on the slate to be addressed:
· CPU AI slider functionality issue will be addressed · Issue regarding Punt/Kick Return blocking will be addressed · A number of other gameplay tuning type issues will be included (hook zones, flat zones, cover ball, man coverage vs. RBs, strafe catch, etc.)
